Carbon monoxide as one of the most important C1 sources can be applied and incorporated into the parent molecules which give more complex compounds. As a result of these advantages, the field of carbonylation research has received much attention during the past decades and this attention is still increasing.Our group are devoted to develope （i）new, cheap, and reusable catalyst systems for highly efficient carbonylation reactions; (ii) new CO surrogates and new techniques for low-pressure or even CO-gas-free carbonylation reactions. We also focus on the conversion of biomass to CO, small molecule activation as well as polymerdegradation.
